Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Orion Edge platform at orion-edge.net ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or participate in any pool on the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Access credentials are personal and non-transferable.

4. Bracket Pools — Nature of Participation

Orion Edge facilitates free, social bracket competition pools for entertainment purposes only. Please read this section carefully.

• Free to participate: All pools on the Platform are free to enter. Orion Network LLC does not charge entry fees, accept wagers, offer prizes, or facilitate any payment between users. The Platform is not a gambling service, sportsbook, or paid-contest operator.
• No prizes or payouts: Orion Network LLC does not award, sponsor, collect, hold, or distribute any cash prizes, gift cards, or items of monetary value in connection with bracket pools or leaderboards on the Platform.
• Entertainment only: The Platform is provided as a free entertainment and social competition tool. Any informal arrangements between participants outside of the Platform are strictly between those individuals and are not endorsed, facilitated, or supported by Orion Network LLC.
• No wagering: You agree not to use the Platform, its leaderboards, or its features to solicit, organize, or facilitate any form of wagering, betting, or paid contest. Orion Network LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that does so.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Submitting multiple bracket entries in violation of pool rules
• Interfering with or disrupting the Platform's operation
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Providing false information at registration or during use

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to the Orion Edge name, logo, design, and underlying code — are owned by Orion Network LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Data

Scores, team information, and sports data displayed on the Platform may be sourced from third-party providers (e.g., ESPN). Orion Network LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such data and is not liable for errors or omissions in third-party content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orion Network LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to disputes between pool participants, loss of prizes, or errors in bracket scoring. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of $10.00 or any amount you paid directly to Orion Network LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orion Network LLC and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Orion Network LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to Terms

Orion Network LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
